BP Healthcare Group, through its member company, ALI Health, the developer of Doctor2U application, has announced its partnership with Microsoft Malaysia to digitally transform its care continuum and deliver new health services.

Doctor2U Co-Founder Keegan Flynn said under this collaboration, the company would leverage Microsoft's intelligent cloud services in order to integrate artificial intelligence and machine learning into the platform.

"Our partnership with Microsoft helps us to embrace cutting-edge technology, giving us the flexibility to scale our business as quickly as we need to.

"The Microsoft data infrastructure also provides our app with an added layer of trust and reliability, which is important in the healthcare industry," he told reporters after announcing the partnership between BP Healthcare and Microsoft Malaysia here, Wednesday.

Flynn said Microsoft's advanced technology would also allow Doctor2U to harness data insights and deliver more effective treatment plans for patients.

"We will work closely with Microsoft to leverage their expertise and solutions to improve our services, as we look to expand regionally and broaden our offerings to include services such as ambulance, nursing and physiotherapy," he added.

Due to overwhelming response from customers, Doctor2U would be expanding its service coverage to other countries in the region, including Singapore and the Philippines, he said.

He added that ambulance service would also be introduced on the app, which would initially be made available in the Klang Valley.

"We have an exclusive partnership with one of the top ambulance services company, which is currently available in the Klang Valley and Kota Kinabalu.

"They are in the midst of expanding their coverage, and we will expand our services in line with their expansion plan," he added.

Doctor2U aims to create an entire healthcare ecosystem built on a single application, with its core feature being the Doctor House Call service that would bring a doctor to the customer''s doorstep within an hour.

Additionally, the app also features a Video Consultation service, where customers could consult with a doctor via video conference, as well as seeks the Medication Delivery service.
