The Johor Malaysian Association of Tour and Travel Agents (MATTA) is targeting sales of tourism packages worth RM15 million at the MATTA fair here.

Chairman of the Johor Tourism, Domestic Trade and Consumerism Committee, Datuk Tee Siew Kiong, said he expected about 13,000 people to visit the three-day fair, which opened yesterday.

"This year, we are targeting for more people to opt for domestic tourism due to the unstable value of the ringgit, and also to encourage the people to spend in the country," he said.
