The Special Task Force on Compliance Operations team led by the Royal Malaysian Police (PDRM) conducted a total of 61,876 inspections to monitor compliance with the standard operating procedure (SOP) of the Conditional Movement Control Order (CMCO) nationwide on Monday.

According to Senior Minister (Security Cluster) Datuk Seri Ismail Sabri Yaakob, the number covered 3,675 supermarkets, restaurants (3,102), hawkers (330), factories (753) and banks (3,742).

He said inspections were also conducted at 1,302 land transport terminals, water transport terminals (270) and air transport terminals (115).

"In addition to that, the Compliance Operations Task Force inspected 18,048 private vehicles, 1,338 public vehicles and 238 vessels.

"Also inspected were 2,295 public markets; 4,058 places of worship; 4,462 recreational areas and 265 construction sites," he said at a daily press conference here Tuesday.

Ismail Sabri said the surveillance team involved 3,183 groups with a force of 15,872 members.
