A court in London today heard the case of a drunk passenger who used abusive words and assaulted a Malaysian Airlines stewardess in a flight heading to Heathrow from Kuala Lumpur.

According to a report in British newspaper, The Sun, Maxine Williams from Fulham, had been drinking for ten hours prior to the incident.

The 57-year-old hospital receptionist reportedly called Teoh Ming Lee, 36, ‘a Malaysian pig’.

Williams also demanded more alcohol, broke an arm rest and fell on another passenger, making children on the flight cry.

Teoh said Williams could not stand up properly, kept leaning on the side and kicked her meal cart resulting in water spillage on other passengers.

The outburst led the flight captain to declare a security alert at 30,000ft.

Due to that, her hands were tied behind her back with plastic loops but after she kicked Teoh legs, her legs were bound with gaffer tape.

William was convicted of charges including assault and being drunk on board an aircraft and is currently awaiting sentencing.
