The Malaysian Anti Corruption Commission (MACC) today detained a former aide to former Felda chairman Tan Sri Isa Samad in Kuching to assist in investigations into the purchase of a hotel by Felda Investment Cooperation (FIC).

MACC chief Datuk Dzulkifli Ahmad said the man was detained at 4am when he went to the office to provide his statement.

"We had detained him this morning. We have made another arrest and will seek remand order this evening," he told reporters after the launch of Sahabat GERAH at Kuala Lumpur today.

On July 28, Dzulkifli had ordered to open an investigation paper to probe the purchase of the hotel in Kuching which is believed to have been bought higher than the market value.
