The Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission (MACC) today detained another brother of a former federal minister to assist in the investigations over alleged misappropriation of rural development funds in Sabah.

According to the sources, the 57-year-old brother of a former federal minister was arrested at the MACC office about 8pm this evening when he came to give a statement.

MACC deputy chief commissioner (operations) Datuk Seri Azam Baki when contacted confirmed the detention of the individual but refused to elaborate.

With tonight's arrest, the two brothers of a former federal minister were currently detained by MACC.

On Oct 10, a 52-year-old brother of the former federal minister was detained by MACC to assist in the investigation into alleged misappropriation of rural development funds and is now being remanded for 10 days.
