A Myanmar man was found dead with slash wounds on his neck and head inside a container house at Gua Tempurung Permanent Food Production Park (TKPM) in Kuala Dipang near Kampar here Saturday morning.

Kampar police chief Supt Ng Kong Soon said the body of the victim, in his 30's, was discovered by his supervisor at 7.50 am.

He said the victim had been working at a vegetable plantation at Gua Tempurung TKPM for the past two years and had lived in the container house with a housemate, who is also a Myanmar national.

"Only the victim and his housemate were living in the container house and it was believed that they were drunk and had a fight prior to the incident," he said.

Ng said police were in the midst of tracking down the housemate to assist in the investigation.

He said the body was sent Raja Permaisuri Bainun Hospital for post mortem.
