The case of four individuals who had allegedly participated in an illicit 'nudist party' in Penang last May, will be re mentioned at the Sessions Court on Dec 17.

Judge Sitarun Nisa Abdul Aziz set the date after counsel L. Raj who stood in for the accused's lawyers applied for a new mention date to enable the defence to submit a representation to the Attorney General's Chambers.

On Aug 28, Chew Tok Hwa, 57; Chan Chia Wen, 27; Teh Guan Hoon, 37; and a man, Kong Meng Leong, 38, were charged with causing public unease by being naked in a public place at Pantai Teluk Kampi, Penang National Park in Teluk Bahang.

They allegedly committed the offence between 3pm and 5pm on May 30 this year, under Section 294(a) of the Penal Code, which carries a jail term of three months or a fine, or both, upon conviction.

Six others, Loh Kok Hong, 41; Mu Wai Peng, 34; Justin Ang Ji Keng, 24; Yam Kam Hoong, 54; Lionel Loo Joo Heng, 52; and R. Nanda Kumar, 40, had earlier pleaded guilty and were sentenced to one month's jail and fined RM5,000 each.
