The police have sought four men, including two Indonesians to facilitate investigations into the murder of a man who was earlier assaulted by a group outside an entertainment outlet in Jalan Kuhara here last week.

The victim, Norajlan Norsait, 32, was pronounced dead about 3.12am last Tuesday at the Tawau Hospital, two days after he was set upon by the assailants.

While the police have detained five local men aged between 28 and 51, to facilitate investigations, Tawau police chief, ACP Fadil Marsus said the other four were being sought to assist in the investigations as well.

The four comprise locals aged 33 and 34 while the Indonesians are in their 20s and 30s, he said in a statement here on Sunday.
