Appropriate investigation and action must be taken by the relevant authorities to ensure that nude sports activities do not spread in the country.

Penang Wanita Umno head, Senator Norliza Abdul Rahim said the nude festival which allegedly took place at the National Park, Teluk Bahang here recently was a serious case and immediate action must be taken to prevent it from recurring in the future.

The Tourism Ministry must also find an approach so that tourists entering the country were given early exposure on the culture and religion practised in the country, she told reporters here Wednesday.

She said the National Parks must also be responsible and find the best approach to monitor tourists who were in their area of jurisdiction.

"We (Wanita Umno) take a serious view over the issue as we don't want more social and moral problems that may arise among the young generation in the country," she said.

The video entitled 'Nude Festival In Teluk Bahang, Penang' went viral on the social websites for the past two days.

The video footage lasting five minutes and 52 seconds showed a group of men and women in the nude participating in various activities in a hut and on the beach.
