The Ministry of Health (MoH) has confirmed 927 cases of patients under investigation (PUI) have been identified as being linked to a tabligh congregation at the Sri Petaling mosque.

Health director-general Datuk Dr Noor Hisham Abdullah said it had increased the number of COVID-19 cases involving the cluster to 3,347 cases from 2,375 cases previously.

"This means that the Sri Petaling cluster and sub clusters account for 48 per cent of the total COVID-19 cases in Malaysia.

"This cluster has involved five generations and we now see 33 cases of death in the tabligh cluster with 0.99 per cent," he said at a daily press conference here on Tuesday.
