Berikut merupakan transkrip perbualan yang dipercayai antara bekas Perdana Menteri Datuk Seri Najib Razak dan bekas pegawai khasnya, Datuk Amhari Efendi Nazaruddin.

Rakaman audio ini dipercayai berdasarkan panggilan telefon antara mereka sekitar pukul jam 12.14 pagi pada 29 Julai 2016.

Berdasarkan rakaman audio yang didedahkan dan diyakini tulen oleh Suruhanjaya Pencegahan Rasuah Malaysia (SPRM) itu, Amhari dihubungi Najib yang bertanyakan sama ada beliau (Amhari) berjaya menghubungi dan bercakap dengan individu penting dari Emiriah Arab Bersatu (UAE) yang dikaitkan dengan syarikat 1Malaysia Development Berhad (1MDB).

AMHARI: Just want to do an update for you. He is suggesting conclusion, when he’s in Abu Dhabi. Because he’s very concern about where he is.

All this cause he's getting worried about all this thing going around here. Dia tak comfortable. At the very least, please tell your principle, that you know although I do not agree, its best to protect our principle that we dont speak.

If he insist then at least when I’m back in Abu Dhabi, pastu dia cakaplah dia tengah cuti dia tolong juga apa semua about the solution number two.

So diorang macam a bit stressed up a bit whine up-lah, not really stressed because he’s still laughing about it.

NAJIB: The thing is susahlah macam ni tak nak jumpa pula di Jakarta.

AMHARI: Dia nak bercakaplah, dia kata kalau jumpa pun sangat bahaya and then they’re still talking about you.

You know, established the communication and the whole idea was to bring the (tidak kedengaran) and he said we stick to that, and then after that even with option two on the table, but then option two while I was on holiday so that one, dia kata was on going and its gonna happen within next few days.

NAJIB: On a second thing, he will see to it, for the second part.

AMHARI: Yeah, the second part he said that is that the two players will met up and then this guy will come back and report to him. What is the deal on the table and whether he can work on that-lah.

NAJIB: The second part is simple, second part is just for them ask her to sign a letter, to say that the *** was alone.

AMHARI: But I’m sure he's loyal to them, advise him whatever the precautious but he says whatever he can help, based on the principle conversation. he will help.

But he said please tell your principle, for the principle to talk to me it’s very risky and he said we should protect our principle.

NAJIB: I know, but we want this to happen but it don’t happen, susahlah.

AMHARI: Tapi orang Arab pun macam tu juga kadang-kadang.

NAJIB: He's bragging the whole thing, susah pula kita. But then takpalah kita ni more expose daripada dia, dia bukan demokrasi, dia boleh duduk selamba je takda tukar apa pun kan.

AMHARI: But I don’t think whatever he said entirely, is been fair. I think we have a case.

But the only thing we need to manage dia punya situation lah, dia kata dia tengah cuti dia kata dia tolong jugak, dia memang risaulah all this thing bocor apa semua, dia kata okay if this goes up, then it’s very difficult for me to work, he will when you came, he came up in the place.

I’m sure it’s not from you, because you don’t know but somebody make it who is trying all this and I’m not comfortable.

NAJIB: Yeah at least settle benda tu dulu lah, the second part.
