Three more people who participated in the recent so-called nude sports surrendered at the Southwest District police headquarters near here Saturday.

The 27-year-old woman and two men aged 24 and 57, gave themselves up to the police at 10.30am.

Penang police chief, Datuk Abdul Rahim Hanafi said the suspects would be remanded tomorrow to facilitate investigations into the case which was held recently at the Teluk Kampi beach in Teluk Bahang, Penang National Park area.

He said the police were looking for three more locals who had yet to surrender.

Yesterday, a local and a Singaporean, aged 34 and 41, were remanded until Aug 17 and 18 to help in the investigations when they surrendered at the same police station.

He said the police had identified all 15 participants of the event. They comprised seven locals, four Singaporeans, two Myanmars and one each from India and the Philippines.

The so-called nude sports became public knowledge when a video, lasting five minutes and 52 seconds, and titled 'Nude Festival in Teluk Bahang, Pulau Pinang' went viral on the social network.

It depicted nine nude men and six women body-painting, dancing and participating in various sport activities on the beach.
