Tuhan Harun deviant sect leader, Harun Mat Saat (pic), 47, who suffered from a stroke, is still receiving treatment at the Tengku Ampuan Afzan (HTAA) Hospital here.

Pahang Health Director Datuk Dr Norhizan Ismail said Harun, who was admitted to the hospital last Thursday, was now in stable condition.

"Right now, he is still warded and under doctor's observation," he told Bernama when contacted Saturday.

Harun was rushed to the hospital after he showed symptoms of a stroke while being detained under seven-day remand at Kuantan police headquarters to facilitate investigation into the murder of Pahang Islamic Religious Council chief enforcement officer Ahmad Raffli Abdul Malik.

Ahmad Raffli was shot dead at close range by one of three suspects who came to his house in Indera Mahkota 2 here on Nov 10.

It was learnt that he was handling two syariah criminal cases involving Tuhan Harun deviant sect and Syiah movement in Pahang before he was killed.

Also remanded were Harun's third wife Azida Mohd Zol, 30, and his driver Nor Hairi Harun, 41.
