Barisan Nasional (BN) Youth, would sever ties with Pasir Gudang MCA Youth if the latter persist with their stance tocut-offties with BN chairman Datuk Seri Najib Razak.

UMNO Youth chief, Khairy Jamaluddin said the decision would be taken as BN Youth collectively cannot accept Pasir Gudang MCA Youth's decision and had evencriticisedit.

"If they are determined to continue then we have tocut-offties with them as a BN Youth component," he said.

He said opposing views are common, however Pasir Gudang MCA Youth's stance was deemed to be over the top and unjustified becauserelationshipwith party leadership cannot becut-off.

"BN Youth has no disciplinary authority over the component parties. We cannot suspend a component party because it is not in the jurisdiction of BN Youth since we are a coalition,” Khairy told reporters after launching the Walk-a-Mile event at the Perdana Botanical Garden in conjunction with World Heart Day 2015 today.

Last Sunday, Pasir Gudang MCA Youth had severed ties with Najib following his support for the Himpunan Rakyat Bersatu assembly on Sept 16.

Its chief, Chia Chow Hui had reportedly said the "red shirt" gathering on that day was seen as a medium to perpetuate racial disunity.
