LAST March, Terengganu Menteri Besar Ahmad Razif Abdul Rahman gave his assurance that the political crisis in Terengganu has ended and the news circulated on social media were fuelled by mere speculations.

Ahmad Razif, who is also the State Communication chairman has also denied that early elections may be held in the East Coast state.

The issue sparked off after Ahmad had also previously attempted to remove Ahmad Razif through a vote of no confidence, but the motion was declined by Terengganu state legislative assembly speaker, Datuk Mohd Zubir Embong.

Ahmad Razif, after the second meeting of the fourth term of the Terengganu state assembly on August 8, reiterated his stand that the political crisis in the state has come to an end.

The assembly sitting proceeded smoothly after deliberating for three hours at the Wisma Darul Aman in Kuala Terengganu.
