Opposition Leader Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim wants PAS dan DAP leaders to sit down and solve their disputes before February 10, before the Federal Court delivers its verdict on his final appeal on his
sodomy case.

"I have appealed them to bring (the issues) to the meeting table, and I hope they can set the date before then (Feb 10). I am in communication with them but unfortunately we are not able to agreed on the date yet," he told reporters here.

Anwar said this after officiating the International Conference on Islam Rahmatan Lil' Alamin in conjuction with the 12th International Youth Gathering.

The local council elections and implementation of the hudud law, which are being championed by the DAP and PAS respectively, have created an acrimonious wedge between the two Pakatan Rakyat (PR) allies.

The Federal Court has fixed Feb 10 to deliver its verdict on the outcome of Anwar's final appeal against his five-year imprisonment after being convicted of sodomising his personal assistant, Mohd Saiful Bukhari Azlan, six years ago.
