Malaysian football club, Felda United FC target nothing less than a win over the Philippines's Ceres Negros in the Asian Football Confederation (AFC) Asia Cup Group G encounter at Shah Alam Stadium tomorrow.

The 2016 Malaysia Super League (MSL) runners-up head coach, B. Sathianathan is optimistic that his boys will be able to give a tough fight and earn three valuable points on home ground.

"If we win tomorrow, it can boost the team's morale and we can climb up to third or second place in Group G.

"But the most important thing is, it will increase the confidence level of the players in the Asia Cup as well as in the MSL," he told reporters at the match's team managers press conference, here, today.

For tomorrow's match, Felda United expect to line up its top first 11 except captain Shukor Adan who suffers a back injury and Argentinian Lucas Cano who has been suspended.

Meanwhile, Ceres Negros head coach Risto Vidakovic is expecting a tough match following their goalless draw in the first meeting at Bacolod, Philippines, last month.

"Of course we have to change something because it's a different game and at a different stadium. We also know Felda much better after the first meeting and I can say it will be a difficult game for both teams.

"I think all four teams are strong and are top teams as you can see from the points in the table. There is no big difference between the first and the last, only three points so it's very hard to say," he said.

Another match in group G tomorrow will be between Vietnam's Hanoi FC and Singapore's Tampines Rovers at Jurong West Sports and Recreation Centre.
