Ooi Tze Liang delivered Malaysia's second gold medal in the diving competition of the Kuala Lumpur SEA Games (KL2017) which started today at the National Aquatic Centre in Bukit Jalil here.

Tze Liang clinched the gold in the men's 3m springboard category after accumulating 458.00 points.

With the victory, Tze Liang defended his gold medal won at the previous 2015 SEA Games in Singapore.

Teammate Ahmad Amsyar bagged the silver with a total of 432.25 points while Singapore's Timothy Lee Han Kuan took the bronze with 386.35 points.

Earlier, Wendy Ng Yan Yee had bagged the first gold medal in the women's 3m springboard.
