The Crown Prince of Johor, Tunku Ismail Sultan Ibrahim considered his meeting with Youth and Sports Minister Khairy Jamaluddin Abu Bakar yesterday as very positive.

The Johor Darul Ta'zim (JDT) football club owner said the meeting gave them the opportunity to share opinions and find ways to improve local football as well as programmes involving youth.

"After the discussion with Khairy Jamaluddin, I would like to commend the efforts and hard work that YB Khairy contibuted for the sports and youth in this country.

"This meeting allows Khairy to get a clearer picture about football, especially JDT's project and youth programmes that I wish to implement in the state," he said in a statement on the Johor Southern Tigers' Facebook page.


Khairy also expressed his satisfaction through a statement on Twitter.

"A positive meeting with the Crown Prince of Johor. Cooperating for the future of football," he said.


Besides that, Khairy also brought to see the facilities owned by the JDT Football Club such as the training center, gymnasium and the indoor field in Padang Seri Gelam.
