LinkedIn announced that it is revamping its messaging service, including a chat app, to make it easier for users to communicate with one another.

The company says it is responding to user demand for easier ways to get in touch with professional peers.

The new site will feature a more streamlined appearance with a chat-style messaging service, as well as better message organization and email notification.

Users will also now be able to attach documents and photos to messages, in addition to stickers and emojis.

The new service is rolling out on both the web and mobile versions of LinkedIn.
