LAILATUL Qadr, described in the al-Quran is a night that is "better than a thousand months".

The night comes once in a year, thus Muslims all over the world want to grab this opportunity to relish its many benefits.

WHAT IS LAILATUL QADR?

In a nutshell, it is a night during the month long Ramadan, also known as a night of a thousand months, equals to 86 years.

Muslims are encouraged to spend their nights to pray and seek forgiveness and blessings of Allah.

WHEN IS LAILATUR QADR?

Lailatul Qadr is said to happen any night during the last 10 days of Ramadan.

Sahih Bukhari stated that the possibility of the night to occur is better on odd days.

Lailatul Qadr is most likely to happen on one of these nights; 21,23,25,27 and 29.

SIGNS OF LAILATUL QADR

Before we look at the signs, perhaps it is best for us to keep in mind that Ibnu Hajar Al Asqalani once said, any signs the Prophets and his friends had talked about, they usually went unnoticed until the morning after.

Here are the signs:

1. Serene and calm night or not too cold and not too warm;

2. Clear sky, not raining; and

3. The morning after will see the sun shines beautifully.
