GOOGLE today said its face-blurring technology was “overzealous” following the company's move in blurring a cow’s face on Google Street View.
The image was spotted by The Guardian's US Opinion Editor David Shariatmadari who shared the image on Twitter.
A Google representative immediately responded as the tweet went viral.
“We thought you were pulling the udder one when we herd the moos, but it’s clear that our automatic face-blurring technology has been a little overzealous.
"Of course, we don’t begrudge this cow milking its five minutes of fame,” a Google spokesperson told BBC.

@D_Shariatmadari @jazmasta Cows should dress more modestly so they don't have to have their faces blurred in shame. pic.twitter.com/dBkfvpVprR
