An Australian couple whose daughter was on board Malaysia Airlines (MAS) flight MH17, has threatened to sue anyone who suggested without evidence that their daughter is dead.
According to a report in The Independent quoting the Australian Associated Press (AAP), Dr George and Angela Dyczynski, still believe that their daughter, 25-year-old aerospace engineer Fatima Dyczynski, somehow survived the crash and is still alive.
Fatima Dyczynski, an aerospace engineer, was one of the passengers in flight MH17
The report said the couple has demanded for expert scientists, especially their daughter’s colleagues from the space science community, to investigate the unfortunate tragedy.
"She was an aerospace engineer, she was a scientist, she was a young person with new ideas and new perspectives and new horizons.
"We want more scientific investigations with the data that's already gathered. It should start now - not wait months and months until we forget,” Dr Dyczynski was quoted in the report.
The couple had said that space scientists could help prevent future incidents.
“Maybe other perspectives are important to investigate. It's not only maybe a missile (that downed MH17) but something more.
“If it would have been a missile, and the rebels shot down this aeroplane, they would not have handed out the black boxes.
“There is a small possibility that somone still survived,” he told AAP.
The couple visited the site of the crash in Ukraine on Saturday.
