He died of a heart attack at 11.45pm in Jakarta.

Indonesian music legend Deddy Dores died of heart attack, at about 11.45pm Iocal time.

The 65-year-old died at a hospital in Bintaro, South Jakarta, CNN Indonesia reported.

The news of his death was announced by his record company, JK Records on Twitter.

The songwriter had recorded hit songs with popular Indonesian artists including Nike Ardilla and Mayangsari.
