One Direction have released the official video for their new single 'You & I', the fourth to be cut from their latest album Midnight Memories.
From Britney Spears’ “Sometimes” to Beyoncé’s “XO,” boardwalks have seen a lot of action in music videos, but One Direction definitely takes the setting to the next level with their new clip for “You & I.”
The boy band kicked off the weekend with a brand new video for their latest smash hit.
It features the band walking along Clevedon Pier in the freezing cold while transforming into each other and wearing matching jumpers.
Just a touch of Adobe After-Effects and some morphing turns blonde into brunette, Harry Styles into Zayn Malik, with no more than the bat of an eyelash or the swipe of a hand through the hair. Each guy takes his turn walking inward on a pier, eyes firmly on the camera to mimic the idea of singing to the listener.
The perfectly appointed cloudy sky behind them also offers a nice difference of texture to set off the song’s message.
