Ray Romano, Holly Hunt could be part of romantic comedy 'The Big Sick'

Ray Romano and Holly Hunter look set to join the cast of romantic comedy "The Big Sick" reports The Wrap.

The film is to be directed by Michael Showalter and is based on a script by Kumail Nanjiani, who is also set to star in the film, and his wife, Emily V. Gordon.

The story is based on their own relationship experience as a Pakistan-born man, to be played by Nanjiani, with an American girlfriend, to be played by Zoe Kazan.

The "Vinyl" actor and Oscar-winning actress are close to being confirmed to play Kazan's parents.
