This October, the Amazonian princess and the world's most well-known female superhero, Wonder Woman, turns 75 and a huge roster of events will ensure it's an anniversary to remember.
Wonder Woman didn't appear in a DC Comic until October 1941, but the official celebrations start on June 15 with a new commemorative "Wonder Woman" logo and will continue with a dedicated Wonder Woman panel at this July's San Diego Comic-Con International - an event which also promises to display a life-size model of the heroine's invisible plane.
"Wonder Woman is a legend around the world and one of the most valuable franchises at our studio, and we're thrilled to celebrate this anniversary," said Kevin Tsujihara, Chief Executive Officer, Warner Bros.
For new and existing fans alike, one of the most exciting events will be the launch of a re-booted "DC Universe: Rebirth" comic book series written by Greg Rucka and on sale June 22nd.
The comics will be followed by commemorative merchandise, Spotify playlists and video games and, of course, the cinematic release of a "Wonder Woman" movie on June 2 2017.
