"We found Thor's wallet," said Tristin Budzyn-Baker to his mother when he found Hollywood actor Chris Hemsworth's wallet.
The story was shared by the 17-year-old teenager on The Ellen Show last Tuesday alongside Hemsworth.
After his discovery, Budzyn-Baker then wrote a letter to Hemsworth's management to tell them about the find.
He was rewarded by the management with an invitation to appear on The Ellen Show with the 32-year-old leading man of Marvel's Thor.
According to the Australian-born actor, he left the wallet on a table while dining in Los Angeles with his family.
"(I) thought I'm never going to get it back, I'm never going to see it again," said Hemsworth.
During the interview, talk show host DeGeneres announced a reward of $10,000 (RM39,000) from publishing service Shutterfly to the teenager for his honesty.
"You're an amazing young man, and thank you for being such a honest guy," DeGeneres said.
Boy scout Budzyn-Baker also got a letter of recommendation from Hemsworth for the Eagle Scout award.
