Pua to be called up over tweet on IGP's statement on Aminulrasyid Amzah
Inspector General of Police Tan Sri Khalid Abu Bakar has ordered police to investigate Petaling Jaya Utara MP Tony Pua over his tweet on Aminulrasyid Amzah case.
He said Pua is twisting the facts and confusing the public with his tweet.
"Call this person in for questioning," Khalid tweeted.

PCIRC @PDRMsia. Tweet ini sengaja memutarbelitkan fakta bertujuan mengelirukan Rakyat. Panggil org ini dan Siasat. pic.twitter.com/1kLNiJnbBx

Khalid had before this refused to apologise to the family of teenager Aminulrasyid Amzah, who was shot dead by police six years ago, maintaining that his statement was made based on facts.
“I have never said the victim used the parang, I only said it was found in the car, so do not try to twist my words," he said.
He also vowed to take action against those who twisted his words.
Pua had tweeted this yesterday:

This thug said 14-year old Aminulrasyid was shot by police because there was dangerous weapons in his car. Now... https://t.co/tYhKw2Dqpy

In the suit, Aminulrasyid's mother, Norsiah Mohammad, 67, and eldest sister Nor Azura, 46, as the plaintiffs, named Corporal Jenain Subi, Shah Alam District Police Chief, former Selangor police chief Tan Sri Khalid Abu Bakar (now the Inspector-General of Police), the Inspector-General of Police and the Malaysian
government as defendants.
The suit was filed to claim damages of almost RM50 million for Aminulrasyid's death, allegedly caused by gunshot wounds to the head arising from Jenain's negligence.
