Ampang Point fracas: Two men remanded for obstructing police

Two men were remanded for three days to facilitate investigations for obstructing police from performing their duties during the commotion in Ampang Point yesterday.
The remand order was issued by Ampang Magistrate Haslinda Raof.
Police arrested two men, after the scuffle among the red shirts and the yellow shirts erupted in the shopping complex.
The case is being investigated under Section 186 of the Penal Code.
If convicted, the offense carries a jail sentence of up to three months or a maximum fine of RM1,000 or both.
