The Selangor government is directing two of its state owned companies to explain the toll hikes on the KESAS and Damansara-Puchong (LDP) highway.
This is because, both of the companies involved, the Selangor State Development Corporation (PKNS) and the Kumpulan Perangsang Selangor (KPS) hold minority interests on both highways.
Its Menteri Besar Azmin Ali said both PKNS and KPS are to brief the state Economic Action Council (MTES) on the toll hike, tomorrow.
“I told PKNS and Kumpulan Peransang who both have minority interest in Kesas and LDP to attend MTES tomorrow,” said Azmin on his Twitter account.

Saya telah minta PKNS dan Kumpulan Perangsang yang masing masing ada kepentingan minoriti dalam KESAS dan LDP untuk hadir ke MTES esok.

PKNS holds 30 percent of the KESAS highway while KPS owns 20 percent interest in the SPRINT and LDP highways.
“MTES will look into the response given by PKNS and KPS. The state government’s policy clearly rejects any toll increase which burdens the people,” added Azmin in his tweet.

MTES akan meneliti maklumbalas dari PKNS dan KPS. Dasar Kerajaan Negeri adalah jelas membantah sebarang kenaikan tol yang membebankan Rakyat
