Bersih 5: Armand, Howard Lee arrested

UMNO Youth exco member Datuk Armand Azha Abu Hanifah was arrested by the police during the rally here on Saturday.
His arrest was confirmed by Red Shirt Movement chief Zainuri Zainal to Astro AWANI today.
Also arrested was Bersih 5 activist Howard Lee Chuan How.
Armand was detained at Padang Merbok and Howard at NU Sentral, Brickfields.

They were brought to the Kuala Lumpur Police Contingent headquarters to assist investigation under Section 511 of the Penal Code for an attempt to commit an offence and under Section 147 of the said code for rioting.
The rally today, initially planned to gather at Dataran Merdeka, but was denied entry by the police, ended at around 5.30pm at KLCC.
It was joined by thousands of Yellow Shirt supporters including former UMNO leaders such as Tun Dr Mahathir Mohamad, Tan Sri Muhyiddin Yassin and Datuk Seri Mukhriz Mahathir.
