MONDAY, 6 JUNE
A passenger on board Malaysian Airlines Berhad (MAB) Flight MH01 en route from London to Kuala Lumpur that experienced severe air turbulence on Sunday said she thought she was going die. The Singaporean in her 50s, who only wanted to be known as Mary, said she felt the plane, an Airbus 380, going into a dive and then shooting upwards, describing the incident as most terrifying.
In a statement, MAB said a small number of affected passengers and crew have been treated by medical officers when the Flight MH1, an Airbus A380 aircraft, landed on time at the Kuala Lumpur International Airport (KLIA).

UEFA on Sunday opened disciplinary proceedings against Russia after crowd disturbances in the stadium at the end of the Euro 2016 match against England. Europe's football governing body said Russia was charged with crowd disturbances, racist behaviour and letting off fireworks.
