Jamaluddin Jarjis laid to rest at National Mosque

The remains of Rompin Member of Parliament Tan Sri Dr Jamaluddin Jarjis, who died in a helicopter crash in Kampung Sungai Pening, Semenyih near here yesterday was safely laid to rest at the National Mosque after Asar (evening) prayers today.
Family, friends and compatriots converged on the compound of the mosque as early as noon to pay their final respects to the chairman of 1Malaysia People's Housing (PR1MA).
Prior to this, the funeral prayers for the late Jamaluddin was held at Taman TAR Mosque in Ampang around 11.30am before the coffin was brought to the family home at The Mines in Sri Kembangan.
About 200 people attended the funeral prayers.

Jamaluddin and Datuk Azlin Alias, the principal private secretary of the prime minister and four other people were flying back from Pekan, Pahang, to Subang, Selangor, when the AS3655N2 Dauphin (9M-1GB) helicopter went down in a rubber smallholding in Semenyih.
The four others have been identified as pilot Captain Clifford William Fournier; operations assistant Aidana Baizieva; Jamaluddin's bodyguard Razakan Seran and businessman Datuk Tan Huat Seang.
