Before he was arrested, Tian Chua had attended a town hall session with Batu residents. The session was attended by Kuala Lumpur mayor Datuk Ahmad Phesal Talib and Federal Territories Minister, Datuk Seri Tengku Adnan Mansor.
Yesterday, PKR vice-president Rafizi Ramli was arrested at his service in Kuala Lumpur, under the Sedition Act 1948, in connection with the #KitaLawan rally.
detention was allegedly linked to rallying supporters to gather at the anti-government #KitaLawan rally scheduled to be held today.
Prior to this, Rafizi who is also PKR secretary-general was arrested under Sedition Act 1948 to assist in investigations over the #KitaLawan rally on March 7.
