Lim Kok Wing dies, aged 75

KUALA LUMPUR: President and founder of LimKokWing University of Creative Technology (LUCT), Tan Sri Lim Kok Wing has passed away at the age of 75 on Tuesday.
LUCT confirmed this in a statement today.
“A visionary, Tan Sri’s career is quite big and synonymous with creativity which has helped global innovation and education especially in developing countries."
It was reported last week that Lim had been hospitalised after suffering a fall but was in stable condition.
The cause of his death was not stated.
Meanwhile, Bernama reported that Lim's children, Lim Kok Wing Jr and Datuk Tiffanee Marie Lim in a statement described their father as a great man with a vision that helped put Malaysia on the global education map.
"We thank everyone for their condolences. We are very saddened by his passing," they said.
They also requested to be given the space to mourn the passing of their late father.
