Prime Minister Datuk Seri Najib Tun Razak today congratulated Tan Sri Michelle Yeoh who has been appointed as United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) Goodwill Ambassador.
"Congratulations Michelle Yeoh on your appointment as UNDP Goodwill Ambassador. Your philanthropic efforts are commendable," Najib wrote on his Twitter account.

Yeoh, 53, a Malaysian-born international actress who was appointed as UNDP's newest Goodwill Ambassador on March 15 in New York, will focus on raising awareness and mobilising support for the recently launched Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
UNDP works in some 170 countries and territories, helping to achieve the eradication of poverty, and the reduction of inequalities and exclusion.
