No Malaysian involved in Davao City bombing

No Malaysians were identified to be involved in the explosion that took place at Roxas Street, Davao City, Philippines.
The Foreign Affairs Ministry in a statement today said the Malaysian Consulate General in Davao City would continue to monitor the situation accordingly.
It said Malaysians around the city, who required consular assistance, may reach the Consulate General of Malaysia via email at mwdavao@kln.gov.my or call (+6382) 2221369/2214050/2221368 or contact Wisma Putra at 03-88874570 (24 hours).
The explosion which occurred yesterday at around 10.20pm resulted in 12 deaths and left 60 injured.
Those injured were sent to nearby hospitals and medical centres for treatment, the Foreign Affairs Ministry said.
