Solidariti Anak Muda Malaysia (SAMM) today gathered outside the Menara Tabung Haji building here, before marching towards the US Embassy at Jalan Tun Razak.
The non-governmental organisation (NGO) planned to protest against the Trans-Pacific Partnership Agreement (TPPA) in conjunction with US president Barack Obama's visit today.
Obama is joining leaders of the 10-member Association of South East Asian Nations (ASEAN) for a weekend summit.
Astro AWANI reporters Syafique Shuib and Israr Khalid are reporting live from the location.

Yesterday, Deputy Prime Minister Datuk Seri Ahmad Zahid Hamidi urged all quarters to respect Obama’s visit and to call off the protest.
"I hope they will not proceed with this plan," he had said.
