Malaysia will wait for the Thai police report on the investigation on PetroSaudi International Ltd former employee Xavier Justo.
The government will wait for a report from the Thai police once it concludes its investigation on PetroSaudi International employee Xavier Justo before taking any action, said Prime Minister Datuk Seri Najib Razak.
He said the Thai police will inform the Malaysian government soon once it concludes its probe. He added that the government will ensure a transparent and fair investigation on the matter.
"Once we get something and clear evidence, only then the government will take action," he said after chairing the UMNO Supreme Council meeting today.
"The minister in charge is also waiting for the report from Thailand," he added.
Home Ministry Datuk Seri Dr Ahmad Zahid Hamidi had earlier said will cooperate with the Thai police to assist in the case involving the arrest of who is currently being detained in Thailand.
