AMONG the headlines for Friday, 18 June, 2021, the coordinating minister for the National COVID-19 Immunisation Programme Khairy Jamaluddin said that exam students of Form Five and Form Six would be given their first dose of Pfizer-BioNTech vaccine starting next month, in order to open up the option of sending these students back to school soon.
Also, at least about 760,000 South Koreans who have received a first dose of AstraZeneca’s COVID-19 vaccine will be offered Pfizer’s vaccine as a second shot due to shipment delays by global vaccine sharing scheme COVAX.
