School canteen worker falls to death from building in Sandakan

A worker at a school canteen here died after falling from the fifth floor of Menara MPS today, police said.

Sandakan Police chief ACP Azhar Hamin said Sarif Hoidey Aidaulus, 19, clad in Baju Melayu and wearing slippers, died on the spot from severe head injuries after falling from the building at about 4 pm.

He said the police had classified the case as sudden death.

The body was sent to the Duchess of Kent Hospital, he added.
