The social media was abuzz today with many STPM students expressing their happiness over the Sijil Tinggi Persekolahan Malaysia (STPM) results which was released today.

Tbh I've never been happy with my PMR or SPM results. But I'm so proud to say that STPM was my best #STPM2014

The 'STPM' keyword continued to flood Twitter timeline and became among the main topics since the announcement of the results.
The Malaysian Examination Council (MEC) President Professor Datuk Dr Mohd Noh Dalimin said the percentage of students passing the 2014 STPM examination result had increased from 96.85 percent in 2013 to 97.81 percent last year.
Noh also said that the achievement gap between rural and urban students have also reduced which is 2.64 urban compared to 2.54 rural students.
