25 Customs officers have been charged in Special Sessions Corruption Courts in Shah Alam, Kuala Lumpur and Ipoh.
Three more Customs officers will be hauled to court over smuggling of undeclared liquor at the Port Klang Free Zone.
Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission deputy chief commissioner (Operations) Datuk Seri Mohd Shukri Abdull said the trio are among 30 Customs officers suspected to be involved in the scam.
He said one of the three would also be charged for a drug offence.
"However, they will be charged when the other two officers, who have contracted dengue, have recovered," he told BERNAMA.
The 30 officers were caught in a dragnet by the MACC and so far 25 of them have been charged in Special Sessions Corruption Courts in Shah Alam, Kuala Lumpur and Ipoh.
