Triads, pimps have over RM1 million to bribe enforcement officers - MACC

The Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission (MACC) today revealed that syndicates linked to triad-related activities, gambling and prostitutions in the country have over RM1 million to bribe enforcement officers.
The revelation was made by its chief commissioner, Datuk Dzulkifli Ahmad today, about corrupt enforcement officers receiving bribes from these illegal network.
He added that illegal syndicates have millions of ringgit in their coffers used to bribe enforcement officers in a certain state in Malaysia.
“MACC will reveal the details of the case soon,” said Dzulkifli during a meeting with chief editors during the Anti-Corruption Media Caucus (ACMC) at its headquarters, here today.
