Tun Mahathir takes wife on MRT date

Former premier Tun Dr Mahathir Mohamad and his wife, Tun Dr Siti Hasmah Mohd Ali, did not miss out on the opportunity to try out the latest public transit facility, Mass Rapid Transit (MRT) during the recent holiday season.

Casually Mahathir was also seen capturing a few photos in the MRT Sungai Buloh-Kajang (SBK) line along with the caption that read, "Together with my beloved wife taking the MRT SBK".

Netizens applauded the couple and lauded them for their willingness to join any regular Ahmad, Ah Chong and Muthu to take the existing public transport.
