MACC says it never conducted a formal public poll on its Twitter account.
Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission (MACC) explained that it never conducted a formal public poll, as reported by a local media over its Twitter poll.
In a statement issued on Thursday, the "poll" conducted on its official Twitter account @SPRMMalaysia was a technical error and merely an exercise.
In the “poll” conducted on Wednesday, it asked if the country's youth trusted MACC.
Out of the 6,210 netizens who participated, 90 percent chose ‘No’ while 10 percent chose ‘Yes’.
As at press time, the poll has been deleted from its Twitter page.
The “poll” also received many reactions, including on how the body handled the investigation on 1Malaysia Development Berhad and for it to continue to operate independently.

@SPRMMalaysia kat twitter ni ramai belia yang cerdik pandai dan kami menolak SPRM sebab bersekongkol dengan kerajaan dlm isu 1MDB .
