Warga Twitter bersatu dengan #SwedenLetThemGo

Susulan kes pasangan suami isteri warga Malaysia yang ditahan di Sweden, warga Twitter Malaysia sudah mula bersuara dengan hashtag #SwedenLetThemGo.
Hashtag ini dimulakan oleh perunding media sosial Joe Lee yang ingin rakyat Malaysia bersatu menerusi Twitter untuk memberi tekanan kepada pihak kerajaan Sweden untuk mempercepatkan kes ini.

Tahanan reman pasangan suami isteri itu dilanjutkan selama dua minggu lagi. Jika pasangan itu didakwa di mahkamah, kes ini akan berpanjangan dan anak-anak pasangan itu akan diletakkan dalam jagaan keluarga angkat.
Walaupun menghormati undang-undang Sweden, menerusi hashtag #SwedenLetThemGo, warga Twitter merayu agar keluarga itu disatukan kembali dari segi kemanusiaan.

Kedutaan Sweden di Malaysia, menerusi laman Twitter mereka @SwedeninMY berkata mereka tidak boleh memberi sebarang pendapat mengenai kes ini.

@arisham2003 We appreciate your concern but as the Swedish judiciary is independent the Embassy will not comment on the ongoing case itself

Di Facebook pula, page Bring Shal and Family Home mula mendapat perhatian dengan 2,054 Likes (setakat ini). Ia bertujuan untuk kongsi maklumat terkini mengenai kes ini dan juga maklumat tentang kes-kes sebegini yang pernah terjadi di Sweden sebelum ini.
Antara yang kongsi pendapat adalah Ummi Insyirah Haqimi yang berkata, “Semoga anak-anak dan ibu-bapa ini kembali ke Malaysia dengan segera. Bagi kita memukul kerana tidak solat adalah biasa.”
“Jangan pisahkan anak-anak ini dari induknya. Lakukan sesuatu Malaysia!” tulis Maryam Ahmad Shah.
