Weekend toll rate discount on SMART highway

Syarikat Mengurus Air Banjir dan Terowong Sdn Bhd (SMART), the operator of the smart tunnel, is offering a 10 per cent discount on the toll rate from 6 am on June 17 to 6 am on June 18 to encourage motorists to use the facility during their shopping in the city in preparation for Aidilfitri.

The toll rate of RM3 for each direction will be reduced to RM2.70 with the discount, SMART Highway chief operating officer Sharifah Alauyah Wan Othman said in a statement.

She said the discount was to encourage road users to use the Smart Highway when entering the city centre.
